We interviewed Linda to ask her all about her summer plans and let’s just say she is definitely taking advantage of what the Pacific Northwest has to offer!
What do you love about summer?
- Long, sunny days
- Fresh, local fruit
- Fresh seafood – coppo river salmon, local clams, and oysters to name a few!
What is your favorite outdoor activity under the sun?
- Going to farmer’s markets
- Taking the ferry to Bainbridge Island
Do you have any recipes you particularly like to make during this season?
With leftover smores goodies, make either a portioned controlled individual smore or pan of smores by crushing the graham crackers and placing them in the bottom of a ramekin or pan. Top it with either hot fudge sauce or leftover chocolate pieces and place a marshmallow on top! Heat in the oven until the marshmallow is toasted and gooey. Cool slightly and enjoy!
-Yum Linda, thanks for the suggestion!
What are you plans?
Staff trip to Whistler, BC, Canada… stay tuned to see our adventures!
What is your goal? How might you achieve it?
Exercise more – get outdoors!
What would you recommend doing this summer based on previous experiences?
- Enjoy the Pacific Northwest!
All in all it looks like Linda lives a wholesome summer and has plans to continue having a great one! One common theme we see here and previously in both Anna’s and Sophia’s is that they all want to enjoy the beautiful summer that the Pacific Northwest offers! Linda takes advantage of that by attending farmer’s market for fresh, local goods and spends an array of time being outdoors and active. Can you relate? Let us know in the comments below!
