Maintaining a healthy mind, body and spirit is vital for anyone in order to maximize their day and live a fulfilling life. More times than less, we see that those who are maintaining their health are striving to be fit! Now don’t be fooled, being healthy can mean a lot of different things; physically, mentally, emotionally, and/or spiritually. Whether it be exuding positive energy, going to the gym and working your bones and muscles, or having a nutritious diet – there are many ways one can practice toward living a healthy lifestyle.

We wouldn’t go as far as to call ourselves health nuts but our team here at Shoreline Dental sure does like to take care of themselves! It’s no secret that when you come into our office you’re greeted with warm smiles and positive energy. Where do you think that comes from?

Outside of work, our front and back office staff is always staying active. Ask us about our favorite hikes, what we like to do at the gym, the Pure Barre classes we teach, the nutritious foods we like to eat, the books we read, and all other recreational activities our staff does – you’d be surprised who does what! Not only do these activities keep our blood rushing, heart pumping, and body moving; they also do a great deal in regulating our mental health and ensuring our energy is no less than positive!

If you’re an active individual and proactive about making strides toward your health, great! But if you’re having difficulty keeping motivated, don’t fret; you can take baby steps into living a healthy life. Substitute those chips and cookies for fruit and yogurt, take walks in a park or throw a Frisbee now that the weather is nice, if you want to start working out – track progress with before and after pictures. You don’t have to follow strict diet plans or have a crazy workout routine to be healthy; you just have to make a routine of treating your body well with good energy, good food, and plenty of movement! Be good to your body and your body will be good to you! Those with healthy lifestyles naturally smile more, which is something we LOVE to see!
