Did you recently move to the area? Let us be the first to say, “Welcome!” We know it can be overwhelming when you move to a new city: choosing a new dentist, finding your go-to grocery store, even deciding which dry cleaners to use – the decisions might seem endless!
As long-time residents of Shoreline, we’re proud to call it home – and we’re confident you’re going to feel right at home here too! One of the luxuries of Shoreline is that while it is small, it’s just outside of Seattle and within close proximity to lots of places in neighboring cities like Edmonds, Lynnwood, and even Seattle! Here are a few of our team’s favorite local services, restaurants, and activities:
Our favorite Shoreline area restaurants:
- Boiling Point
22001 WA-99 #100, Edmonds, WA 98026

Boiling Point offers Taiwanese style hot pot soup which could be shared family style, but most people enjoy it for it’s individual serving. If you’re looking for something hot, savory, and potentially spicy – here’s a popular place to go just one exit away from our office! Two of our employees love this place.
Some of the best services Shoreline area has to offer:
- Hot Yoga of Mill Creek
16521 13th Ave W #104, Lynnwood, WA 98037

Whether you’re a veteran or beginner (which they have beginner specials), relax your body at Hot Yoga of Mill Creek, only a few exits away from our office. Right by Alderwood Mall, this Yoga Studio offers a wide array of class types throughout the week for you to drop by and give your muscles a break. - Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy
18336 Aurora Ave N #103, Shoreline, WA 98133

Both UK and Italian style hairdo’s are found right in the heart of Shoreline! If you’re looking for a cut, trim, color – these students are properly trained to ensure you’re needs are met for a reasonable price!
Our favorite ways to spend the day in Shoreline:
- Cinebarre
6009 244th St SW, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043
If you’re looking for a movie theater that is 21+, serves diner-like style food and drinks during the movie as well as beer and cocktails – look no further! Cinebarre is just two stoplights from our office and is a great date-night activitiy to partake in. - Highland Ice Arena
18005 Aurora Ave N, Shoreline, WA 98133
http://www.highlandice.com/
If you’re interested in skating or hockey, this is where you want to be! The Ice Arena offers classes and drop in specials for a family friendly experience in ice sports. - Burke-Gilman Trail
http://www.seattle.gov/parks/burkegilman/bgtrail.htm
The Pacific Northwest is all about going out and being active! This recreational trail runs from Kenmore on Bothell Way NE all the way down to Golden Gardens Park in Seattle. If that’s too much for you, this trail has highlights along the way – running by the water in Lake Forest Park/North Seattle or even along the University of Washington and making your way down to Gasworks to watch the sunset over the Seattle Skyline. There’s always an area of interest along this trail!
We sincerely hope you’ll check some of these hot spots out! If you’re choosing a new dentist as well, see what other Shoreline dental patients have to say about our practice, here!
