His first priority is always to make you feel comfortable and in control at all times.
Dr. Co had a bad dental experience as a child and founded his dental practice to provide whole-health dental services to the Shoreline area with the gentle and warm care you deserve.
We don't just treat teeth, we see people. Whatever barriers you need to overcome to have and maintain good oral health, we will help you overcome it. Whether with relaxing sedation methods, flexible scheduling, or guidance with financing, you can count on us.
The modern technology we use for your dental services is lightyears ahead of the days when Dr. Co and others had to endure bad dental experiences. With our digital x-rays, laser-assisted tools, and advanced oral cancer screening, there is less pain, less anxiety, and more to gain at each dental visit in our practice.
We recognize that your oral health is your responsibility. We are here to help achieve and maintain a good oral health program. We stop, go, and slow down at your pace to remind you that you are in complete control.
We never rush or push treatments you do not need. We aim to go the extra mile in giving quality care and dentistry so that your smile will look great and help you BE GREAT for a lifetime.
If you have pain or an emergency situation, call Shoreline Dental at (206) 440-0065.
Every attempt will be made to see you the same day or as promptly as possible.
Your cleaning appointment will include a dental exam and the following:
Removal of calculus (tartar): Hardened plaque that has been left on the tooth for a period of time.
Removal of plaque: A sticky, almost invisible film that forms on teeth.
Teeth polishing: Removal of stains and plaque not otherwise removed during tooth brushing and scaling.
Root canal therapy is needed when the nerve of a tooth is affected by decay or infection.
To save the tooth, the pulp (the living tissue inside the tooth), nerves, bacteria, and any decay are removed, and the resulting space is filled with medicated dental materials, which restore the tooth to its full function. Treatment is highly successful and usually lasts a lifetime.
Periodontal disease is a common inflammatory condition which affects the supporting and surrounding soft tissues of the tooth. It can also affect the jawbone itself in it's most advanced stages.
Periodontal disease is the leading cause of tooth loss among adults and should always be promptly treated. A complete periodontal exam of the mouth will be completed before any treatment is performed or recommended.
Veneers are thin pieces of durable porcelain that are custom-made for shape and color. Getting veneers usually requires two visits. First, your teeth are prepared by light buffing and shaping of the surface, then a mold or impression of the teeth is taken.
During the second visit, your teeth will be cleansed with special liquids to maximize bondability. Bonding cement and a special light beam are used to harden and set the bond.
Botox® is used to complement aesthetic dentistry cases, as a minimally invasive alternative to surgically treating high lip line cases, denture patients who have trouble adjusting to new dentures, lip augmentation, and is used in orthodontic cases where retraining of the facial muscles is necessary.
Juvéderm® injections relax certain facial muscles which stop the clenching and associated pain. Juvéderm® offers patients a safe and effective treatment with little to no downtime.
Juvéderm® is less invasive than other fillers and provides patients with dramatic improvement almost immediately following treatment. Results can last up to six months.
Beautifully functional crowns are a convenient solution for busy patients like you! Isn't it time you unleashed your smile?

A composite (tooth-colored) filling is used to repair a tooth that is affected by decay, cracks, fractures, etc. Composite fillings are usually placed in one appointment.
Dr. Co will remove decay as needed, and the area will then be thoroughly cleaned and carefully prepared. The composite filling will then be precisely placed, shaped, and polished, restoring your tooth to its original shape and function.
A dental bridge is a fixed oral appliance and is an excellent way to replace missing teeth. Getting a bridge usually requires two or more visits. First, the two anchoring teeth are prepared by removing a portion of enamel to allow for a crown.
Next, a highly accurate impression (mold) is made. At the second visit, your permanent bridge will be carefully checked, adjusted, and cemented to achieve a proper fit.
Dentures are removable dental appliances for missing teeth and surrounding tissue that closely resemble your natural teeth and enhance your smile.
A partial denture not only fills in the spaces created by missing teeth, but it also prevents other teeth from shifting. They can last many years but may have to be remade, repaired, or readjusted due to normal wear.
Unlike dentures, dental implants are permanent tooth replacements that can last a lifetime with proper hygiene. Dental implants become part of your natural smile since they fuse with the jaw bone, they are stain-resistant, and allow you to eat, speak, and smile like you would with natural teeth.
